Strategic Planning

We collaborate closely with organizational leadership, staff, board members, clients, and other stakeholders to develop goals, effective strategies, and performance metrics tailored to the organization’s mission, capabilities, and environment. Our 3-phase process involves assessment, planning, and implementation support. Over 3 years, our strategic plans have helped nonprofits increase funding by 40%, expanded programs by 62%, boosted community engagement by 59%, and improved service delivery efficiency by 53%. We recently partnered with a 15-person nonprofit providing housing services to create a new 2025 strategic plan focused on expanding trauma-informed programs, upgrading technology, diversifying leadership, and developing earned income opportunities.

Data Analysis

We help organizations collect, clean, integrate, analyze, interpret, and apply data to inform decisions, track outcomes, and performance. Our team of data analysts and researchers employ a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover insights and trends. We helped a county government agency identify and reallocate $850K in wasteful spending through our program evaluation methodology. For a school district, our analysis of discipline data uncovered major disparities between suspension rates for white vs. minority students, informing their equity plan. We also work with law enforcement agencies to analyze juvenile justice data and reduce racial disparities.

Meeting Facilitation

We design and lead highly productive meetings, community forums, focus groups, town halls, workshops, and trainings for both internal and external audiences. Our seasoned facilitators employ techniques to keep conversations flowing, uplift diverse voices, build consensus, and drive outcomes. We recently facilitated a community visioning process bringing together 800+ participants to share ideas and selecting a design with 75% approval. 100% of participants rated the process as engaging, inclusive and meaningful. We also facilitate agency retreats, community workshops, leadership offsites, and participatory planning sessions.

Nonprofit Capacity Building

We strengthen operations, leadership, adaptability, and community impact through organizational assessments, coaching, training, and change management support. Our “out of the box” capacity building programs have helped 75% of participating nonprofits expand volunteer engagement by over 40%, increased fundraising by 59%, and expand community partnerships by 68%. We take an ecosystem approach – building capacity across internal operations as well as external connections and collaborations. Our current 12-month intensive cohort program focuses on financial management, leadership development, DEI, volunteer engagement and community relationship building.
